I´m the fucking anti pope
Antichrist Superstar es el segundo álbum de estudio de la banda estadounidense de metal industrial Marilyn Manson. Fue grabado en Nueva Orleans, Estados Unidos, el 8 de octubre de 1996. Pese a toda la controversia que este disco generó por sus letras y sus mensajes, logró vender sólo en los Estados Unidos 1,9 millones de copias1 y en ventas mundiales 7.500.000,2 3 considerado su primer gran éxito.Manson consideró este trabajo musical como una "autobiografía". En ella describió la visión que tiene del mundo en el cual crece, y expansiona su pensamiento fragmentándolo en las dieciséis canciones. Por otra parte, este disco fue el comienzo de una trilogía que posteriormente se extendería a otros dos álbumes: Mechanical Animals y Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death).* Fuente wikipedia
Y parte de ese discazo es éste 1996, título que coincide con el año de publicación, grabación y año en el que la profecía de Nostradamus anunciaba el nacimiento del Anticristo.
Que es de lo que habla la canción, del "antitodo". Se opone a todo lo ya establecido, a toda creencia, a toda alienación y haciendo un discurso casi dictado por Nietszche se opone a su propia existencia.
